Women’s Health Services
South Fulton Medical Center has a variety of services and programs designed to help women take positive steps toward healthier lifestyles. SFMC offers bone density screenings and screening and diagnostic mammography services. SFMC mammography services have been certified by the Federal Drug Administration
(FDA).
Each family's birth experience is special and the hospital strives to make it unique. SFMC's labor and delivery suites provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere while the post partum area provides mother-baby care in private
accommodations. A neonatal intensive care unit is staffed by a neonatologist, specially trained nurses and respiratory therapists. Women's Health Services also offers a wide range of educational classes prior to and after the birth of a newborn.
